My top 5 beauty must haves!

As I’m getting older and more interested in makeup and fashion, I’ve been going on more and more shopping sprees and doing what I’m good at (Spending my mum and dads money!) But recently, I’ve been buying more high end products and personally, I can totally tell the difference between them and drugstore dupes. These are my top 5 at the moment! (All links to each product are hyperlinked)

Dermalogica Clear Start Breakout Clearing Emergency Spot Fix- £13.10

This product has actually saved my life! Even though I love all of the clear start range, this product has to be my favourite. I apply it after I wash my face and spray my toner all over my face as evenly as I can. Recently, I’ve had a few spots so I’ve applied it at night and by the morning, they have nearly gone! Now, I’m no expert but I think that that’s amazing!

Dermalogica Clear Start Breakout Clearing Overnight treatment- £13.10

This product is the nicest smelling thing I have ever smelt! It includes cucumber and licorice to help lull redness away and tea tree, lavender and camellia sinensis to keep overactive oils in check. I apply it just before I go to bed and it helps to clear the skin over night. This product is amazing and I definitely recommend the clear start range from dermalogica for teenagers and young adults.

Mac Studio Waterweight SPF30 Foundation- £25.50

I have actually only just recently purchased this but it was the best £25.50 I’ve ever spent! I love it! It is a medium buildable coverage and feels weightless on the skin. It basically does what it says on the bottle. To be fair, I think with a mac foundation, you know what you’re getting; a high quality product that works amazingly! Also, you can’t beat an amazing looking bottle!

Benefit Hoola Matte Bronzer- £23.50

This product is also one that I’ve only just recently brought and I’m so glad I did! Over the last few months, I’ve heard so so many people on about it and I though I’d try it and see what I thought. It’s amazing! It’s such a natural and lovely colour that makes your skin look more alive and glowing. I think that it adds more dimension to my face and doesn’t make it look like a ball of nothingness!

Mac Lipstick ‘Lovelorn’- £15.50

I adore mac lipsticks! Yes, they are a bit on the pricer side but the quality of them is amazing. Lovelorn is one of my favourites at the moment as it is a lovely blue-toned pink which is perfect for spring! Also, I love that even though it is a brighter pink, it is gorgeous to wear everyday and I know that I’m defiantly going to get my wear out of it this year!

Well, that’s it for today but I’ve really enjoyed doing something a bit different than I’ve done so far and I know I’m defiantly going to carry on. I’m sorry about the quality of the photos as I haven’t got a proper camera because I don’t have the money at the moment. Hopefully, in a few months, I will be able to afford a decent camera to get me going and if any of you have any recommendations then please let me know!

Thank you so so much! Beth xo

Adele Live

Hi Guys,

I’m so sorry I haven’t done a new blog for such a while; I’ve just been so so busy with school work at the moment. I started my GCSE’s last September so my work load has gone up incredibly as some of you may know.

Anyways, on Friday 1st I saw Adele live in the Genting Arena, Birmingham for the first time after being a super fan since day 1; she was truly sensational! Adele is such an entertainer and her humour is hilarious. It’s crazy because even though there was around 15,700 people in the arena, I felt like it was just me and her and she was singing all the lyrics to me! It was such an amazing night and personally, I think that she sounds even better live than she does on all her albums! It had to be my favourite night of my life and I wish I could do it all over again!

The songs that she sang were incredible and I couldn’t of asked for her to entertain us any better with her amazing voice, the meanings behind every song and her hilarious encores.

The set list was:

  • Hello
  • Hometown Glory
  • One and Only
  • Rumour Has It
  • Water Under The Bridge
  • I Miss You
  • Skyfall
  • Million Years Ago
  • Don’t You Remember
  • Send My Love (To Your New Lover)
  • Make You Feel My Love
  • Sweetest Devotion
  • Chasing Pavements
  • Someone Like You
  • Set Fire To The Rain
  • All I Ask
  • When We Were Young
  • Rolling In The Deep

When Adele sang Skyfall, I she waved back at me and I’m still shell shocked a few days after! I’m going to insert a few photos now that I managed to take of the show! I have to say, the staging and lighting was absolutely incredible. Words can’t actually explain how grateful I am to have managed to go and see Adele and if she does another concert again, I will definatley go through all the stressful times of trying to get tickets again!
